In 2004 akB became a member of the Otago Chamber of Commerce and since 2008 Ali Copeman has been a Director on the board of the Chamber.

akB is a Silver member of Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) and one of 17 CINZ endorsed professional conference organisers.

Ali Copeman was one of the first New Zealand Professional Conference Organisers to become an Australia/New Zealand Certified Event Manager.
